Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Business Consultant to join our dynamic team. ITS professionals should be able to operate globally on internal programs that are critical to EY’s strategy and ambition. As a Business Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic guidance and expert advice to our Executive Leadership in the areas of project management, change management, and design thinking. Your extensive experience in these fields will be invaluable as you collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead transformative projects, and drive organizational growth and innovation. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of project management methodologies, change management principles, and design thinking frameworks, along with exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Roles & Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Collaborate with Executive Leadership to understand their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide teams toward successful outcomes</li> <li>Manage & engage senior stakeholder relationships at CxO, Partner, Functional Head levels</li> <li>Perform rapid assessment of landscape for stakeholders and provide insights to accelerate action towards refining their current state</li> <li>Bring diverse and thought-provoking perspective to transformations, including market trends, new and innovative ideas to drive data driven decision making</li> <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail</li> <li>Drive and build upon a culture of continuous improvement by developing innovative idea</li> <li>Conduct comprehensive analyses of organization’s processes and systems</li> <li>Provide strategic recommendations and action plans to drive business performance and transformation</li> <li>Develop roadmaps for implementing project management, Organizational change management, and design thinking initiatives.</li> <li>Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes</li> <li>Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with clients and stakeholders</li> <li>Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies</li> <li>Foster effective communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders</li> <li>Develop and implement change management strategies to support organizational transformation initiatives</li> <li>Conducting Change Impact Analysis and Change Readiness / Gap Assessment and give recommendations that are actionable on immediate and long-term basis</li> <li>Build strong change network, drive change adoption, manage stakeholders with people centric approach, if needed work towards mindset shift and achieve cultural transformation</li> <li>Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management efforts and make adjustments as necessary</li> <li>Apply design thinking principles and methodologies to identify innovative solutions to complex business problems</li> <li>Conduct user research, gather insights, and define user personas and journeys.</li> <li>Advocate for design thinking principles and foster a culture of creativity and experimentation within client organizations</li> <li>Contribute to the development and enhancement of consulting methodologies and frameworks</li> <li>Mentor and coach junior consultants, providing guidance and support in their professional growth</li> </ul> What will make you eligible for this role? <ul> <li>Master’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field</li> <li>10+ Years of experience with at least 7+ years of management / business consulting experience</li> <li>Advance MS Suite skills – particularly, to develop engaging presentations and dashboards</li> <li>Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), certification in Change Management or Design Thinking are highly desirable.</li> <li>Deep understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and their practical application in different contexts.</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of change management principles, models, and methodologies, with hands-on experience leading change initiatives.</li> <li>Proficiency in design thinking frameworks and tools, with the ability to apply them effectively to solve complex business problems.</li> <li>Awareness and experience of leveraging technology as enablers</li> <li>Exceptional communication, presentation skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences</li> </ul> Good to have <ul> <li>Experience working in the Big 4 professional services firms and other global management consultancies is highly desirable</li> <li>MBA or equivalent advanced education is preferable</li> <li>Certification in Project Management, Organisational Change Management, Design Thinking, Facilitation will be an advantage</li> </ul> What working at EY offers?
