<p> </p> <p>The <strong>IT Governance Manager</strong> ensures that IT operates within a controlled, compliant, and auditable framework by defining, maintaining, and enforcing Group-aligned governance, risk, compliance, and audit structures across Group, Central, and Local IT.</p> <p> </p> <p>Beyond documentation, the role actively safeguards conformity by ensuring governance rules are applied in practice, decision bodies function effectively, audit expectations are met, and deviations are identified and corrected.</p> <p> </p> <p>Operating in close collaboration with all the IT teams, the role ensures that governance reality across IT is consistent, transparent, and defensible.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Own and maintain a clear and consistent IT governance framework (policies, standards, processes)</li> <li>Ensure governance is applied in daily operations across all IT teams</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ensure the effective functioning of governance bodies, including: Architecture Review Board, change Advisory Board, ...</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>Help structure and guide application approvals and changes (e.g. deployments, updates)</li> <li>Monitor how governance is used and identify gaps, deviations or inconsistencies</li> <li>Work closely with cybersecurity, data, and engineering teams on risk and compliance topics</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Act as primary point of contact for Internal and External Audit on IT governance topics</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>Track action plans and ensure issues are followed up and resolved</li> <li>Help build and evolve a governance roadmap (e.g. AI, security, platforms, applications)</li> <li>Support teams to make governance clear, efficient, and easy to apply</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your profile</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant equivalent experience</li> <li>Strong experience in IT governance, risk, compliance, or audit environments</li> <li>Comfortable working across different IT domains (cybersecurity, engineering, data, etc.)</li> <li>Experience with decision-making processes or governance forums</li> <li>Good understanding of application risks and criticality</li> <li>Strong communication and influencing skills (work across teams without direct authority)</li> <li>Ability to simplify complex topics and make governance practical</li> <li>Structured and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership</li> <li>Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch, French and/or German is a plus</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Offer</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Salary:</strong> a competitive salary package, allowance for representation expenses, year-end bonus, double vacation pay, meal vouchers (€10 per working day), eco-vouchers, sport & culture vouchers, bonuses based on individual and group results. </li> <li><strong>Insurance:</strong> group insurance, hospitalisation insurance, ambulant care insurance for the whole family and also personal accident insurance. </li> <li><strong>Vacation:</strong> You will be entitled to 20 vacation days and 5 additional vacation days, 6 local days, 4 exempt days (after 1 year of employment) and up to 5 long-service days (1 day for every 3 years in employment). </li> <li><strong>Social fund:</strong> Year-end vouchers, birth and marriage allowance.
