<h2><strong>General Information </strong></h2> <p>The Category Management Purchasing Intern will support the electronic purchasing team in managing supplier interactions, sourcing activities, and category data. This is a hands-on role designed for a detail-oriented individual looking to gain practical experience in procurement processes, supplier management, and strategic sourcing within a dynamic business environment.</p> <h2><strong>Your Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Support the Category Management Electronic Purchasing team in both daily operations and strategic initiatives</li> <li>Coordinate and schedule business meetings with electronic suppliers to ensure effective communication and alignment</li> <li>Lead the planning and coordination of key supplier roadmap reviews and tech day set up</li> <li>Prepare, analyze, and maintain pricing, cost models, and sourcing documentation</li> <li>Support Request for Information (RFI) activities and project quotation processes</li> <li>Assist with Request for Quotation (RFQ) execution and support end-to-end sourcing processes</li> <li>Maintain and continuously improve category reports, dashboards, and databases to ensure data accuracy and usability</li> <li>Assist in the development of presentations and management materials to support purchasing decisions</li> <li>Conduct research and analysis on market trends, commodity developments, and potential supply risks</li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the purchasing function to enhance efficiency and performance</li> <li>Support tariff mitigation activities and related reporting requirements</li> <li>Assist in advancing supply chain resiliency initiatives to strengthen risk management and continuity</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Your Qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field</li> <li>Maintained a 2.5 GPA or higher</li> <li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.</li> <li>Soft skills: exceptional organization, a "proactive" mindset, and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines</li> <li>Technical skills: proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint</li> <li> <p>External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship</p> </li> </ul>
