The role is responsible for maximizing production capacity and yield while minimizing downtime, optimizing product quality, overseeing and enhancing the operator cross-training program, and fostering effective communication and motivation to build a strong, collaborative team.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Accountabilities</H2> </div><div><ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Assist in executing routine operations within the assigned area, ensuring all reporting complies with policies and procedures related to employee safety and food/feed safety.</li> <li> <p>Monitor product-related risks and ensure product quality consistently meets customer specifications.</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain strict adherence to company safety and hygiene standards.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure employee and product safety at all times by completing comprehensive training aligned with task procedures and individual development needs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support and manage the production budget for the department, process, or shift.</p> </li> <li> <p>Mentor production workers, participate in the recruitment and selection process, and oversee employee welfare, performance reviews, engagement initiatives, training needs, and absence management.</p> </li> <li> <p>Identify operational risks and recommend improvements and innovations to enhance efficiency and safety.</p> </li> <li> <p>Address basic issues and problems under direct supervision, escalating more complex matters to the appropriate personnel.</p> </li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Qualifications</H2> </div><div><h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.</p> </li> <li>Minimum of two year of related work experience.</li> <li>Preferable have 5 years of experience as a Shift Foreman in the palm oil industry.</li> <li>Strong commitment to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and workplace discipline.</li> <li> <p>Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and a disciplined work ethic.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficient in financial analysis and budgeting processes.</p> </li> <li> <p>Computer literate with solid digital skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience working in palm oil mills with high safety standards.</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with ISO and RSPO standards.</p> </li> <li> <p>Additional advantage: experience in production planning and maintenance scheduling.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Strong data analysis capabilities including continuous improvement experience or certifications</li> <li>Mechanical equipment knowledge, especially related to palm oil mill operations</li> <li>Engineering knowledge – unit operations and transport processes, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics</li> </ul></div></div></div>
