We are looking for a <strong>Plant Controller</strong> to join our manufacturing site in <strong>Deventer</strong> and become a trusted business partner to site leadership.</p> <p>In this highly visible role, you will combine financial expertise with commercial and operational insight to help drive performance, improve profitability, and support key business decisions.</p> <h2>What You'll Do</h2> <p>As Plant Controller, you will serve as the financial leader at the Deventer plant and work closely with both local management and corporate finance teams.</p> <p>Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Leading monthly financial reporting and management accounting activities</li> <li>Supporting plant leadership with cost analysis, profitability insights, and decision-making tools</li> <li>Driving forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes</li> <li>Monitoring manufacturing costs and identifying opportunities for operational improvement</li> <li>Performing variance analyses and translating findings into actionable recommendations</li> <li>Managing inventory accounting, fixed assets, and internal controls</li> <li>Supporting capital investment projects through ROI analysis and expenditure tracking</li> <li>Leading cost reduction initiatives and helping improve overall site performance</li> <li>Ensuring accurate and timely submission of budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and financial reports</li> </ul> <h2>What We're Looking For</h2> <p>You are a hands-on finance professional who enjoys being close to the business and influencing outcomes.</p> <p>You bring:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</li> <li>Approximately 10 years of professional finance experience</li> <li><strong>Strong Dutch / English verbal and written presentation skills </strong></li> <li>Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong cost accounting background</li> <li>Strong analytical and business partnering skills</li> <li>Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities</li> <li>The confidence to challenge the status quo and drive improvements</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels</li> <li>A proactive, results-oriented, and highly organized approach</li> </ul> <p>MBA, CPA, CMA, or experience with Activity Based Costing is considered an advantage.</p> <h2>Why Join Trivium?</h2> <ul> <li>Be part of a global sustainability leader with a Platinum EcoVadis rating</li> <li>Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where your impact is visible every day</li> <li>Collaborate with talented colleagues across Europe and beyond</li> <li>Enjoy a culture that values ownership, entrepreneurship, and continuous improvement</li> <li>Play a key role in driving operational and financial excellence</li> </ul> <h2>Location</h2> <p>📍 <strong>Deventer, The Netherlands</strong></p> <p>This is an on-site position.
