To support our continued growth and operational excellence, we are looking for a <strong>Manager Engineering – End Making</strong> to lead and further develop our End Making technology platform across Europe.</p><p>This role has ownership of the End Making engineering strategy, technology roadmap, technical standards, and performance improvement initiatives across our European manufacturing network.</p><p>This is a strategic leadership role for an experienced engineering professional who thrives in complex industrial environments and is passionate about driving innovation, operational excellence, and high-performing teams.</p><h2> </h2><h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2><p>As <strong>Manager Engineering – End Making</strong>, you will be responsible for defining and executing the technology strategy for End Making operations across Europe while leading a team of highly skilled engineers and specialists.</p><p>You will play a pivotal role in translating technical expertise into measurable business results by improving safety, quality, reliability, productivity, sustainability, and cost performance across our European operations.</p><p>Working closely with plant leadership, business units, operational excellence teams, and global stakeholders, you will influence the future direction of End Making technologies and support critical investment and improvement programs.</p><p>This position offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership, people management, and technical expertise within one of the world's leading metal packaging companies.</p><h2><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></h2><h3><strong>Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams</strong></h3><ul><li>Build, inspire, and develop a world-class engineering team.</li><li>Strengthen technical expertise, accountability, succession planning, and talent development across the organization.</li><li>Create a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.</li></ul><h3><strong>Drive Technology Strategy and Innovation</strong></h3><ul><li>Define and execute the technology roadmap for End Making operations across Europe.</li><li>Identify emerging technologies and best practices to improve operational performance.</li><li>Drive the future development and standardization of End Making technologies across our European manufacturing sites.</li></ul><h3><strong>Deliver Business Impact</strong></h3><ul><li>Lead strategic projects and capital investments from concept through implementation.</li><li>Partner with Business Units and Plant Leadership to prioritize initiatives that improve operational and financial performance.</li><li>Ensure successful project delivery through effective governance, resource allocation, and stakeholder management.</li></ul><h3><strong>Standardize and Optimize Operations</strong></h3><ul><li>Establish engineering, maintenance, quality, and operational standards for End Making operations.</li><li>Drive standardization of End Making equipment, tooling, and processes to improve reliability, maintainability, quality, and efficiency.</li><li>Define performance benchmarks and KPIs while translating improvement opportunities into actionable plans.</li></ul><h3><strong>Lead Change Across Europe</strong></h3><ul><li>Influence and align diverse stakeholders across functions, cultures, and locations.</li><li>Support Trivium Business System (TBS) initiatives and drive adoption of best-in-class manufacturing practices.</li><li>Mobilize teams and build commitment around strategic priorities.</li></ul><h2><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></h2><p>You are an experienced engineering leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution and has a strong passion for manufacturing excellence and technology development.</p><h3><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></h3><ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technical Sciences, or Business.</li><li>10+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments, ideally within packaging, metals, or process industries.</li><li>Experience with high-speed manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.</li><li>Proven track record in project management, change management, and operational improvement.</li><li>Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations.</li></ul><h3><strong>Leadership Skills</strong></h3><ul><li>Strong people leadership and coaching capabilities.</li><li>Ability to create and communicate a compelling vision.</li><li>Skilled at influencing without formal authority and building engagement across complex organizations.</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and decision-making abilities.</li></ul><h3><strong>Personal Attributes</strong></h3><ul><li>Results-oriented and highly organized.</li><li>Collaborative and able to navigate complexity.</li><li>Passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English;
