<p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:24.0pt"><strong>Your Contribution:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">The primary purpose of the position is to coordinate the implementation of savings projects by strategically identifying and performing critical thinking for long term strategic sourcing solutions. The position will also identify supply risks or market trends and perform negotiation and strategy tactics to secure sustainable sources for future development projects.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">The Commodity Buyer will play an important role in define and execute a purchasing strategy for the commodity he/she is responsible. Ensuring best pricing, quality and delivery performance on a supplier with a long-term business relationship.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Responsibilities will include the negotiation of best sourcing option, follow the commodity strategy and keep good and productive teamwork with the cross functional team.</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Address supplier gaps that affect future development products.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Manage and coordinate supplier changes for strategic sourcing or distressed suppliers.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Supporting Commodity Buyers with development of commodity strategy formulation and execution.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Responsible for cost reduction initiatives and support of PPV report.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Communicate and coordinate supplier issues with MAHLE Purchasing Team.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Position includes up to 25% domestic and international travel.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span>Have at all times updated and accurate information in JIRA and Jaggaer / SAP systems.</span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:24.0pt"><strong>Your Experience & Qualifications:</strong></span></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">3+ years of relevant purchasing experience is a must. </span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">3+ years of relevant skills in negotiation, financial cost analysis and market analysis.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">1+ year hands on experience reading blueprints and specifications is a must.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">1+ year of experience working with manufacturing processes (stamping, injection molding, casting) is a must.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Strong aptitude in Microsoft Office applications, such as Microsoft Excel required.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Experience with supplier relationships, in-depth knowledge of contract negotiations and product development.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:24.0pt"><strong>Our Offer:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span><span style="font-size:14.0pt">We will provide a collaborative environment working on exciting assignments, along with ongoing personal & career development opportunities, attractive salary & extensive personal benefits.
