<p><strong>Service Deli Assistant – New World Ilam</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>We’re looking for a motivated, energetic foodie to join our fantastic Service Deli team at New World Ilam. If you’re passionate about great food, love working with people, and thrive in a busy environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.</p> <p> </p> <p>You’ll be joining a large, supportive deli team dedicated to producing high‑quality products and delivering outstanding customer service. We’re after someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Delivering excellent customer service to our valued customers</li> <li>Preparing, producing, and presenting fresh deli foods</li> <li>Maintaining stock levels and high presentation standards</li> <li>Following all Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, including temperature checks and cleaning records</li> <li>Ensuring the deli department is kept clean and tidy</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>A strong work ethic and positive attitude</li> <li>Good listening and communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work well in a fast‑paced team environment</li> <li>Previous food preparation experience (advantageous but not essential)</li> <li>Commitment to great customer service</li> <li>Self‑motivation and the ability to work independently</li> <li>Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy items when required</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Hours</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>This is a permanent role working Tuesday-Saturday 5am-1.30pm (40 hours).</p> <p> </p> <p>If you have the passion, energy, and enthusiasm to bring the New World experience to life, and you’d love to be part of our awesome Deli team, apply online now.
