<p>PAK’nSAVE Rangiora is on the lookout for someone who is interested in upskilling to become a qualified butcher. We pride ourselves on consistently achieving high success rates across our training and apprenticeship programs. You’ll train alongside a skilled, supportive team of butchers who are dedicated to helping you successfully complete your butcher apprenticeship.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>This is a permanent, full-time 40-hour position.</p> <p> </p> <p>Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 5:00 – 15:30 = 40 Hours. </p> <p> </p> <p>We’re committed to mentoring and supporting the successful applicant through a 3-year apprenticeship, completing the New Zealand Certificate in Butchery, Level 4. </p> <p> </p> <p>Whether you are interested in starting an exciting new trade or looking to return to complete your butchery qualification – This is your opportunity!</p> <p> </p> <p>As part of the Butchery team, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the department, helping deliver a wide range of fresh, high-quality products. This role offers great opportunities for training, development, and career growth within a supportive team environment.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>While working on the job throughout the 3-year apprentice program you will:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Learn how to slice, mince and bone products.</li> <li>Learn how to tray, pack, and present products for sale.</li> <li>Gain a comprehensive understanding of Food Safety and Health & Safety</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Important Information:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>PAK'nSAVE Rangiora has an active drug and alcohol policy.
