<p>PAK’nSAVE Rangiora is on the lookout for someone who is interested in upskilling to become a qualified baker. We pride ourselves on consistently achieving high success rates across our training and apprenticeship programs. You’ll train alongside a skilled, supportive team of bakers who are dedicated to helping you successfully complete your baker apprenticeship.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>This is a permanent, full-time 40-hour position, working early morning shifts.</p> <p> </p> <p>The exact hours and days will be discussed at the interview stage.</p> <p> </p> <p>We’re committed to mentoring and supporting the successful applicant through a 3.5-year apprenticeship, completing the New Zealand Certificate in Baking (Generalist), Level 4.</p> <p> </p> <p>Whether you are interested in starting your baking career or looking to return to complete your baking qualification – This is your opportunity!</p> <p> </p> <p>As a Baker Apprentice, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day running of the Bakery department, learning how to produce a wide range of fresh and high-quality bakery products. We are looking for a willing candidate to train and develop, who has a passion for food and a commitment to work hard in a supportive and stimulating environment.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>You will learn:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Making pastry and bread doughs.</li> <li>Baking, icing and decorating cakes for customer orders as well as for displays.</li> <li>Producing other bakery specific products as required (scones, muffins, slices, cookies).</li> <li>Food Safety standards and documentation processes.</li> <li>Merchandising of the product.
