<p><strong>PAK’nSAVE Queenstown</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>SEAFOOD - FRESH FOODS ASSISTANT</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>We are looking for people with a passion for food preparation to work in our Seafood department. Our rosters are fixed, so you’ll know what days you’ll work each week and that you’ll be working 9 hours per day, 45 hours per week. The roster for the positions we are recruiting for are:</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY 9.00am - 6.30PM</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The ideal candidate will be:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Someone with previous food handling and preparation experience</strong></li> <li>Physically fit and able to lift reasonably heavy items</li> <li>A team player with the ability to assist colleagues as well as work independently</li> <li>Attentive to detail and committed to providing an excellent shopping experience for our customers</li> <li>Available to work weekends</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Preparing fish and seafood</li> <li>Packing and presenting products ready for sale</li> <li>Providing a high level of customer service and assisting customers</li> <li>Maintaining stock levels in cabinets and retail spaces and ensuring all products on display are excellent quality</li> <li>Cleaning trays, utensils and kitchen areas</li> <li>Compliance with our Health and Safety and Food Safety programme</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><em>We welcome applications from candidates currently residing in Queenstown and planning to stay and work long term.</em></strong> Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens, New Zealand Permanent Residents, or hold a valid New Zealand Work Visa.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please provide details of your current situation, your intentions and outline your food related work experience specifically in the cover letter of your application.
