Work days: Monday, Tuesday, and alternating Wednesdays.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">As a key member of the Diabetes Allied Health Team, the dietitian is responsible for providing dietitian services to young people living with diabetes, and their families. The Department is also a registered NDIS provider.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>About The Department:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The RCH Endocrinology and Diabetes department is one of the largest paediatric diabetes services in the world and is involved in active primary care, education, family support, research and advocacy for children and adolescents with diabetes. The multidisciplinary team includes diabetes medical specialists, diabetes nurse educators, dietitians, social workers and mental health professionals. The service currently provides a model of service delivery which includes in-patient and ambulatory stabilization of newly diagnosed patients, diabetes inpatient and outpatient services and allied health led outpatient clinics.
