See yourself working here Your responsibilities will include: <ul> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Model visible leadership and actively demonstrate our Work Safe Live Safe and Customer-focused values.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Partner with business leader and front-line workers to support knowledge and understanding of the Live Work Manuals and Electrical Safety Rules, Health and Safety (H&S) performance and cultural objectives. </li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Plan and deliver low voltage live work assurance activities in line with the H&S Assurance Plan using system-based tools, supporting continual learning and risk intelligence. </li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Prepare and present reports and insights to Business Unit Managers, enabling improvement to control measures.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Coach and guide senior leaders, front-line leaders and workers across field-based roles, planning, engineering and training on the application of the Live Work Manual and Electrical Safety Rules.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Engage with sector and industry bodies to translate insights into practical recommendations to enable continuous learning and improvement. </li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Contribute to investigations and risk reviews of low voltage live work as a subject matter expert.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Contribute to continuous improvement of Ausgrid’s safe systems of work, including the Low Voltage Live </li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Work Manuals, Electrical Safety Rules, Live Work Authorisations and training content.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Contribute to the review of work practices to enable safe and efficient outcomes for workers and the community.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Utilise relevant technical systems and databases, including appropriately managing asset and network data and information.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Translate data and trend analysis into business-unit-specific insights that support the identification of emerging risks and themes.</li> </ul> Spark our interest! Energise us through your skills and qualifications in: Essential Qualifications <ul> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Electrical trade qualification with five years’ experience in field operations.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Engineering certificate or diploma-level tertiary qualification in work, health and safety or equivalent, or the ability and willingness to achieve the qualification.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Must hold or have previously held work authorisations or equivalent for the low-voltage, high-voltage or transmission network.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Lead Auditor OH&S Management Systems qualification or ability to achieve qualification.</li> </ul> Essential Criteria <ul> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Highly developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to effectively communicate, influence, coach and mentor stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. </li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Adaptive and agile critical thinking and processing ability, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into simple, easy-to-understand explanations or processes.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Knowledge and understanding of relevant WHS and electricity distribution network legislation, Codes of </li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Practice and Australian Standards.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Proficient research, report-writing and editing ability, with high attention to detail. </li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">This role is required to provide coverage of afternoon/night shift as required, in line with the EBA provisions.</li> </ul> Desired Criteria <ul> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Certification IV in Training and Assessment.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Lead Auditor Asset Management Systems.</li> </ul> Life at Ausgrid At Ausgrid, we go beyond just a competitive salary to offer an exciting range of benefits.
