About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Safety Coordinator Construction to join our farming projects team in Corowa, NSW, on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Agricultural Services Manager, you will oversee Work Health Safety (WHS) across several construction sites within NSW/VIC Farming. Your key responsibilities will include: <ul> <li style="font-size:18.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Drive WHS Compliance: Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, regulations, company policies, and contractor management requirements across construction activities.</li> <li style="font-size:18.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead Safety Systems & Incident Management: Monitor safety performance through Beakon, oversee incident and hazard reporting, lead serious incident investigations, and support timely corrective actions.</li> <li style="font-size:18.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Conduct Audits, Inspections & Risk Management: Perform site inspections, monitor compliance with SWMS and permit-to-work systems, identify trends, and implement effective risk controls.</li> <li style="font-size:18.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support, Coach & Influence Leaders: Partner with leaders, employees, contractors, and Safety Representatives to strengthen safety capability, accountability, and continuous improvement.</li> <li style="font-size:18.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Develop & Maintain WHS Programs: Contribute to the development and implementation of WHS management systems, safety management plans, training initiatives, reporting, and construction project safety requirements.</li> </ul> About You The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum requirement).</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Experience in a construction safety role, ideally within a Principal Contractor environment.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Experience in incident management and investigations; ICAM training or certification is highly regarded.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, management systems, and relevant Codes of Practice.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Strong analytical, problem-solving and investigation skills, with a keen attention to detail.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Intermediate computer skills, including experience using safety management systems and Microsoft Office applications.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Willingness to travel between sites as required.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">A current and valid driver's licence.</li> </ul> Why join JBS?
