Releases parts requirements to the supply chain and manages move in/move out signals from the planning system. Monitors and analyzes demand trends, forecasts, target inventory levels and recommends system parameter changes to department management.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><u><b>Key Job Responsibilities</b></u></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Plan $40-50M+ of inventory by using computer systems to fulfill customer requirements while controlling on hand inventory levels.</li> <li>Communicate effectively with sourcing group, customer service and expeditor(s) to fulfill order requirements.</li> <li>Conduct root cause analysis, establish counter measures and maintain performance metrics to achieve business plan objectives.</li> <li>Process defective material by effectively working with supplier, warehouse, quality, and sourcing groups.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned by Materials Management & Allocation Manager.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><u><b>Qualifications/Requirements</b></u></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations or Business or an Associate’s degree in combination with relevant work experience, CPIM, CSCP or CPM Certification a plus.</li> <li>Manufacturing, production planning and/or whole goods product experience a plus</li> <li>Supplier management skills</li> <li>Extreme sense of urgency and bias for action</li> <li>Welcomes accountability and responsibility – individual and shared</li> <li>Change agent</li> <li>1 – 3 year experience in planning and supply chain execution</li> <li>Professional PC skills in Excel, Power Point, and high-level user skills in Inventory Planning System</li> <li>Must be dependable, self-driven, and detail oriented</li> <li>Physical Requirements: requires sitting for extended periods of time over 90% of the work period to complete detailed work, typically using a PC. This role pays $59,400 - $67,000.
