The historic Chino mine was among the world's first low-grade, open-pit copper mines. Today, the operation consists of a 36,000-metric-ton-per-day concentrator that produces copper and a 150-million-pound-per-year solvent extraction/electrowinning plant that produces copper cathode from solution generated by run-of-mine leaching. </p> <p>The community of Silver City boasts various restaurants, arts, entertainment, cliff dwellings, festivals and much more. Visit <a href="https://www.visitsilvercity.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Silver City</a> to learn more. </p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What You Will Do</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Set-up, deliver and install personal computers, telephones, networking, and peripheral equipment using established and defined procedures and processes. </li> <li>Perform preventative maintenance on voice and data communication systems and associated hardware maintaining accurate documentation. </li> <li>Actively participate in Safety and Environmental programs, ensure MIS policy compliance and site operational goals. </li> <li>Perform voice, network, and PC and basic wireless troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose infrastructure problems. </li> <li>Perform other duties as required. </li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What You Bring To Freeport</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Two (2) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair. </li> <li>Demonstrated technical expertise in the installation, repair and maintenance of PC hardware, software, printers, fax machines and telephone handsets. </li> <li>Ability to effectively analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with computers, peripherals, cellular and voice systems. </li> <li>Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols and technology including wireless networking equipment </li> <li>Basic knowledge of voice systems (PBX/VoIP) </li> <li>Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written </li> <li>Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as business dictates. </li> <li>Must be customer service-oriented and possess good organizational skills. </li> <li>Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions. </li> <li>Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards. </li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>High School diploma or GED </li> <li>A+ Certification </li> <li>Network+ Certification </li> </ul> </div></div></div><p><strong>What We Offer You</strong> </p> <p>The estimated pay range for this role is currently <strong>$28.00 - $38.00/hour.</strong> This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
