Performs installation and service, including inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing of HVAC systems.</div> <div> </div> </div> <div align="left"> <ul> <li>Perform preventive maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of main cooling/heating systems</li> <li>Install, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, belts, fans, coils, compressors, etc.</li> <li>Work with furnaces, boilers, stoves, heat exchangers, burners, blowers, fans and radiant heaters</li> <li>Responsible for maintaining electrical controls associated directly with the refrigeration/cooling equipment</li> <li>Recover refrigerant and provide associated documentation</li> <li>Perform other duties as required</li> </ul> </div> </div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What You Bring To Freeport</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li>Two (2) years of applicable experience in Residential and Commercial HVAC maintenance and installation</li> <li>May require specific HVAC Certification(s) as specified by work site</li> <li>Able to use a variety of computer software applications, especially Microsoft Office</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to read and interpret refrigerant system pressures</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to understand the hazards associated with working on/around HVAC equipment, troubleshooting HVAC refrigerant, electrical (480/208 3 phase and 120 volt), and gas systems</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to braze/solder refrigerant line-set and coils for installation and repair applications</li> <li>Ability to effectively troubleshoot electrical/electronic controls associated with HVAC systems</li> <li>Ability to independently install, diagnose, repair, replace, and balance a wide variety of heating, ventilation, cooling systems and ice makers</li> <li>Ability to perform proper refrigerant recovery and reporting</li> <li>Self-motivated and willing to work with and be a contributing member of the HVAC team</li> <li>Ability to communication with all employees at all levels</li> </ul> <div> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED</li> <li>Two (2) years of training in a Trade School program for HVAC Electrical/Mechanical and Chillers Operation and Maintenance</li> <li>Five (5) years of applicable experience in Residential and Commercial HVAC Maintenance and Installation</li> <li>North American Technicians Excellence (NATE) Certificate</li> <li>Industry Competency Exam (ICE) Certification</li> <li>Ability to assist with the design and planning of new and retrofit HVAC installations</li> <li>Experience with refrigeration systems (i.e. Mine Air, Sigma, etc.) as used on Industrial shovels and drills</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, maintain and install Chiller systems</li> <li>Working knowledge of SAP software</li> </ul> <p> </p> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>What We Offer You </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The estimated pay range for this role is currently <strong>$27.00 - $36.00/hour.</strong> This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
