<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Summary</b></H2> </div><div><p>The Purdue Athletics Event Operations Department strives to provide a safe, organized and pleasant game experience at all Purdue Athletic Events for fans, student-athletes, game officials, community and corporate partners.</p> <p><br><strong>Job Description:</strong><br>• Assist with parking operations for all varsity sports and other events hosted in athletic venues<br>• First point of contact, greet all fans positively and provide high quality customer service<br>• Assist parking vehicles in paved, grass, gravel and parking garages<br>• Ensure Purdue Athletics tailgate policies and guidelines are followed by all fans<br>• Communicate with supervisors of any tailgate policies and/or guidelines being violated<br>• Evaluate parking to ensure optimal utilization of area and maintain safety for all guests<br>• Park vehicles efficiently to take advantage of all available space<br>• Prior to lots opening, notify event management how many vehicles need to be ticketed and towed<br>• Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spots<br>• Work with onsite PUPD officers to resolve parking lot issues<br>• Have an understanding of game day details and provide fans with game day information and provide accurate directions to surrounding parking lots, Ross-Ade Stadium, Mackey Arena and ticket office.</p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br>• Manual labor which may include lifting, carrying, longer periods of standing and walking<br>• Strong oral and interpersonal skills<br>• Excellent customer service skills<br>• Attention to detail<br>• General knowledge of athletics related rules/regulations<br>• Cash counting ability</p> <p><br>Email Steven Carn ([email protected]) with any questions.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Education</b></H2> </div><div>0</div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Experience</b></H2> </div><div>0</div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>FLSA Status</b></H2> </div><div>Non-Exempt</div></div></div>
