Provides mentorship to sales representatives when needed. </div> </div> </div> <div aria-label="Job Duties"> <div> </div> </div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Duties</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Creates sales within a defined customer base by: <ul> <li>Promoting division products and services.</li> <li>Maintaining a level of performance in a specified territory, which meets or exceeds the sales objectives established by the company.</li> <li>Establishing and maintaining relationships with physicians, nurses, hospital management and other areas of endoscopic services.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Provides necessary and appropriate after sale service to customer base including: <ul> <li>Installation assistance.</li> <li>Training on use and operation of equipment.</li> <li>Troubleshooting problems.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Provides input to sales manager, BU leader and others as requested by management.</li> <li>Develops and maintains territory customer database, as well as competitive database.</li> <li>Attends trade shows as necessary to demonstrate Olympus equipment and meet with potential and current customers.</li> <li>Attends seminars and sales meetings in order to develop knowledge about division’s products and procedures for these products.</li> <li>As a senior rep the incumbent will be providing mentorship to sales represnetatives from other territories as needed.</li> <li>The incumbent could travel other OLA countries to provide assistance as needed,</li> <li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Qualifications</H2> </div><div>Required: <ul> <li>Must be able to travel as required.</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sciences or a related field (or equivalent knowledge).</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years of prior sales or marketing experience is required.</li> <li>Minimum of 8 months as an Olympus Associate Sales Representative, meeting or exceeding all performance expectations, plus one additional year of sales experience.</li> </ul> Preferred: <ul> <li>A specialized knowledge of human anatomy/physiology and related diseases of the body where Olympus products might be utilized is preferred.</li> <li>Prior sales or marketing experience with medical devices or within a hospital/medical environment is highly preferred.</li> <li>Medical sales experience in a hospital with operating room or surgical familiarity is helpful.</li> <li>Bilingual Spanish/English is helpful.</li> </ul></div></div></div>Why join Olympus?
