Technician role requires interaction with Engineering and Manufacturing personnel to achieve project objectives, data collection/mining, preliminary data analysis and general operations and experimentation support. Day to Day Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Provide coverage during experiments</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Mining plant systems for data, organizing and analyzing the data</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Ware inspection for defects, tracking and logistics</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Using Excel and/or other tools (Jmp, Minitab, Tableau, etc) for data analysis</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Experiment logistics and experiment execution</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Lead smaller process improvement projects</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Equipment/process/EHS audits and calibrations</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Creation and / or maintenance of department documentation</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Interface with Firing equipment as needed (including but not limited to TC cars, thermocouples, kiln furniture, kiln burners, etc.)</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Provide scheduling and / or ware ordering support where needed</li> </ul> Travel Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Anticipate all work being in the Corning Valley. No travel anticipated;</li> </ul> Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Generally 40 hrs. per week, but must be flexible. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
