The individual as a Product Development Engineer will lead and support product development projects and provide technical leadership for glass materials and components that support the Advanced Optics business. This person will translate customer and market requirements into product concepts, develop material and process solutions, and help move new products from early-stage development through qualification and manufacturing readiness. The role will focus on working closely with Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial teams to align technical work with product requirements, business priorities, and customer needs. The person is expected to have broad technical skills, strong product-development judgment, and the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
