There will also be opportunities to assist with on-going capital projects related to upgrades to existing process control systems. </div> </div> <div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"> <div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"> Key Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provide controls engineering support to on-going operations in various fiber manufacturing process areas.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Develop SOPs, system documentation, and electrical schematics for new and existing process equipment.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Conduct on-site troubleshooting of both legacy and modern process control and pollution abatement equipment.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Participate in the development of control architectures, control functional specifications, and system integration requirements that satisfy process and manufacturing needs.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Add as-desired functionality to existing process control systems for product development. </li> </ul> </div> </div> <div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"> <div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"> Experiences/Education - Required <ul> <li style="font-size:1.0em">BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, or a related engineering field.</li> <li style="font-size:1.0em">0-2 years of Electrical/Controls experience.</li> <li style="font-size:1.0em">Understanding of electrical panel layout, schematic development, and system testing/troubleshooting.</li> <li style="font-size:1.0em">Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLC programming (ladder logic, structured text).</li> <li style="font-size:1.0em">Exerience with PID controls and control loop tuning.</li> <li style="font-size:1.0em">Familiarity with sensors and process instrumentation (thermocouples, flow meters/controllers, level sensors, etc.).</li> <li style="font-size:1.0em">Willingness to learn new skills and gain a deeper understanding of processes.</li> <li style="font-size:1.0em">Strong technical communication skills, both verbal and written.</li> <li style="font-size:1.0em">Technical problem solving experience, critical thinking, and data-based decision making skills.</li> </ul> </div> </div> <div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"> <div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"> Experiences/Education - Desired </div> <div> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Electrical schematic development with AutoCAD Electrical software.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Experience with FactoryTalk View HMI Systems.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Familiarity with VFD functionality and experience with VFD troubleshooting.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Familiarity with the fiber glassmaking process.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Familiarity with NFPA 70/79 electrical standards.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Familiarity with version control, code documentation, and testing practices.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Documentation and/or technical report writing experience.</li> </ul> </div> </div> This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $70,818.00 - $97,375.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
