Other duties may be assigned.</p> <p>Responsible for the safe operation of at least one specific form of powered material handling equipment.</p> <p>Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the breakroom, front office and all bathrooms.</p> <p>Responsible for processing Styrofoam, film, and cardboard bailors daily, loading for pickup.</p> <p>Responsible for the safe and proper storage of furniture and materials within the racking systems.</p> <p>Responsible for proper handling of materials and merchandise to minimize the potential for damage and injury.</p> <p>Responsible for adherence to company policies including safety and the use of personal protective equipment.</p> <p>Responsible for maintaining a clean and clear work environment, free from trip hazards.</p> <p>Maintain groundskeeping of the parking lots and designated smoking area.</p> <p>May perform building maintenance functions.</p> <p>Must help maintain the upkeep of lifts and tugger equipment.</p> <p> Must complete and understand all company sponsored safety programs.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Requirements</H2> </div><div><p><strong>Education and/or Experience </strong> </p> <p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Other Qualifications</strong></p> <p>Furniture repair or refinishing experience preferred.</p> <p>Ability to touch up, repair and upholster furniture.</p> <p>Must be able to follow oral and written instructions</p> <p>Must be able to work independently while using discretion</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
