What We Do <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Prepare vinyl lineals for production using a lamination process</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Saw and machine vinyl and metal to prepare for window and door assembly utilizing CNC saws and mills.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Assemble windows and patio doors.</li> </ul> Principal Job Duties and Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Process driven with a focus on continuous improvement.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Assists co-workers in analyzing and correcting problems encountered in job assignments in order to perform work according to standard operating procedures.</li> </ul> Working Conditions <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Manufacturing and office areas are climate controlled.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Advancement opportunities: promoting from within is prioritized.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs throughout the shift.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Standing/walking 10 hours per day.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Ability to lift 25-50 pounds regularly, occasionally team lift up to 75 pounds</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Must be able to work overtime as required.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Must wear appropriate PPE and maintain a safe working environment.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Must be able to read a tape measure to within 1/32 of an inch.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Understand quality standards and perform quality work including raw material, WIP, and finished goods inspection.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Be able to read and understand all paperwork and labels associated with production schedules.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly fashion.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Must meet production rates.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Must perform any other tasks assigned by Manager.</li> </ul> Required Skills and Experience <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">High School Diploma or Equivalent.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Stable work history with preferred 2 – 3 years of manufacturing experience.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Strong verbal and written communications skills.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Proven problem solving and organization skills.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Works well in a team environment with a diverse workforce.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Basic Conflict Resolution skills.</li> </ul> Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalismAbout JELD-WEN Holding, Inc.
