The Brand Packaging Coordinator contributes to the efficient workflow of developing packaging artwork, from creative development, information gathering and artwork review, through delivery of final artwork and prepress. </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">What You’ll Do</H2> </div><div><p><strong>Essential Functions </strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversees and manages assigned projects and/or department data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements</li> <li>Conduct data entry and data management for various department projects</li> <li>Assist with the development of training materials such as manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, and project plans</li> <li>Review artwork for adherence to specifications, brand guidelines and supporting documentation</li> <li>Communicate and coordinate with all levels of Branding & Packaging (BAP) team and cross-functional departments such as Engineering, Label Compliance, and Translation and other internal stakeholders as appropriate; and, when suitable with external parties, to gather information necessary for development of creative briefs </li> <li>Organize job details, track milestones, and proactively raise questions and solutions as needed, within the packaging development process</li> <li>Participate in the development of product packaging design from creative briefs through production, with the support of the BAP Manager and Sr. Analysts</li> <li>Liaise with creative and production agencies, and photographers to coordinate creative development</li> <li>Review and comment on artwork, proof against brand guidelines, initiatives, and packaging content</li> <li>Consolidate feedback from a variety of stakeholders into clear direction for external partners with the support and direction of the BAP Manager</li> <li>Apply critical thinking skills to proactively raise questions and propose solutions, to produce high-quality deliverables</li> <li>Complete accurate data entry and tracking for all assigned projects and products, and create BAP related reports</li> <li>Collect and organize data to assist team members with other projects as assigned such as draft process documents, and production notes</li> <li>Enter product and artwork information into Lidl US systems and actively address questions</li> <li>Conduct research relating to design development</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">What You’ll Need</H2> </div><div><p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities </strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Proficient in Google Workspace tools and/or Microsoft Office Suite</li> <li>Knowledge of consumer/market trends in the retail/grocery field </li> <li>Understanding of the implementation of primary and secondary packaging</li> <li>General to intermediate understanding of printing techniques</li> <li>General to intermediate understanding of packaging components, structures and materials</li> <li>Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and general design principles</li> <li>Ability to work independently</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities </strong></p> <ul> <li>Detail oriented with strong organization skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Strong project management and time management skills</li> <li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Docs/Word, Sheets/Excel, Slides/PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience </strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree</li> <li>1-3 years of experience in a related field</li> <li>In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above</li> <li>Experience in or fundamental knowledge of brand building, brand architecture and packaging design in the private label or national brand environment</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Physical Job Requirements </strong></p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer</li> <li>Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">What You’ll Receive</H2> </div><div><p>At Lidl, we know that in order for our people to do their best, they must be at their best.
