About the role: As a Buyer, you will take an active part in supporting our team working globally to achieve a net zero emissions environment. You will report to the Supply Chain Operations Team Lead and work in our Blairsville, PA site. This is a hybrid position. Key Responsibilities: <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Support our teams to promote a culture where a high quality and teamwork is the norm</li> <li>Purchase goods, materials, components and services following specified cost, quality, and delivery targets</li> <li>Manage the procure to pay process from engagement through to Purchase Order issuance and ensuring payment</li> <li>Process Purchase Requisitions, Request for Quotation, and create Purchase Orders</li> <li>Monitor confirmations of Purchase Orders from the suppliers</li> <li>Manage on time deliveries</li> <li>Resolve issues related to Purchase Orders and Invoices</li> <li>Improve cost savings and reductions</li> <li>Collaborate with your internal customers, suppliers and company partners</li> <li>Report your achievements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis</li> <li>Support our further development by identification and implementation of improvements</li> <li>Open mind to development with focus in areas of continuous improvement</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.</li> <li>No experience required, up to 3 years in corporate environment, in operational areas (supply chain, nuclear or technical areas) preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge of SAP MRP, Material Masters, Purchasing Info Records (PIRs), Source Lists, and Purchase Order automation tools/processes is strongly preferred</li> <li> </li> </ul> We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
