The selected candidate will leverage their extensive knowledge of manufacturing and welding processes to improve plant efficiencies and help achieve site goals, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. This role requires the candidate to be onsite full-time.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>What Will You Do?</b></i></H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>Plan, organize and implement systems and procedures that will enhance manufacturing production.</li> <li>Conduct cause and effect studies and implement corrective measures.</li> <li>Assess production processes to improve product consistency, standardize work procedures, flow, etc. </li> <li>Implement Lean concepts throughout the plant including 5S, Visual Work, Kanban, etc.</li> <li>Create and manage technical training programs for production employees.</li> <li>Ensure all aspects of new product introduction and changes to existing products are properly communicated to all stakeholders.</li> <li>Interface with various departments in coordinating technical information relating to specific projects.</li> <li>Project Management of capital equipment projects: identify equipment improvements, ensure on time delivery and within budget.</li> <li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…</b></i></H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>This position will require the ability to move around the production floor to investigate issues with the production equipment or manufactured and purchased parts.</li> <li>Lift up to 25 pounds.</li> <li>Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, other related tasks in an office setting</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>Your Experience Should Be...</b></i></H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>A minimum of 6 years of experience in a manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering role.</li> <li>Your engineering experience must include working with welding and fabrication processes.</li> <li>Proficient in MS Word, Excel, AutoCad, ProE.
