Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Electrical Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Project Managers and Superintendents with coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control. The role requires a solid understanding of construction fundamentals and grows in responsibility, with increasing autonomy, technical proficiency, and ownership of project areas.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><strong>This is an 14/14 or 14/7 (project dependent) FIFO role on our northern SK project sites</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site </strong></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Support Project Coordination & Execution:</strong> Assist senior project staff in coordinating project activities, updating schedules and budgets, maintaining cost control, and monitoring labour, material, and equipment activities throughout the project lifecycle</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Manage Project Documentation & Communication:</strong> Prepare and maintain project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, drawings, revisions, site instructions, and change orders, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Track Change Management & Cost Reporting:</strong> Monitor change events, submit and track change notices, record change orders, and assist with establishing and maintaining cost reporting systems for project components</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Contribute to Project Planning & Reporting:</strong> Support project managers and superintendents with planning activities including project plans, responsibility matrices, status reports, and schedule updates to anticipate construction issues</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Promote Safety, Quality & Client Satisfaction:</strong> Assist in coordinating safety plans, maintain safety and quality records, conduct client satisfaction surveys, and foster strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and design teams</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><strong>The Right Tools for the Job </strong></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Education</strong>: Technical Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, or CET (Certified Engineering Technologist) designation in electrical,</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Skills Required</strong>: Strong proficiency in MS Office, project management software (P6 preferred) , and scheduling tools.
