We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person willing to work as a Senior Frontend Developer (React) and interested to be part of the GFT team. Your main responsibilities will be: <ul> <li>Development of web applications with the latest versions of the main frameworks and libraries based on requirements and detailed specifications.</li> <li>Development of web apps from scratch using latest version of forementioned frameworks/libraries.</li> <li>Understanding and applying common design patterns.</li> <li>Support the development of prototype versions of software modules and applications.</li> <li>Report on the progress made in the assigned tasks, achieving defined deadlines.</li> <li>Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement.</li> <li>Collaborate on projects based on Agile methodologies.</li> <li>Testing to ensure code quality.</li> <li>Performs project related “on-call” support activities if needed.</li> <li>Understanding of the "rules of development" (Code management, code repository, continuous Integration – CI and code review).</li> </ul> Skills will help you to succeed: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineer or related field.</li> <li>Experience in frontend development technologies, especially in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.</li> <li>Valuable experience in frameworks and libraries, but mainly React.</li> <li>Experience in Unit Testing with Jest, Cypress...</li> <li>Predisposition towards working with agile methodologies.</li> <li>At least B2 level of English, written and spoken.</li> </ul> Tech skills: <ul> <li>Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Must have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.</li> <li>Expert Knowledge of React: A deep understanding of the specific framework they work with, including its syntax, features, and best practices.</li> <li>Experience with state management: Should be proficient in managing the state of their application using state management libraries like Redux, NgRx, or MobX.</li> <li>Understanding of component-based architecture: A strong understanding of how to design, create use and and optimize components effectively.</li> <li>Familiarity with UI design patterns: Familiar with commonly used UI design patterns and know how to implement them in their applications.</li> <li>Understanding of responsive design: Must have a solid understanding of responsive design principles and be able to create responsive layouts that work well on different screen sizes.</li> <li>Knowledge of testing: Front-end developers should be proficient in testing their code using standard testing frameworks.</li> <li>Experience with version control: Proficient in using version control tools (Git) to manage code.</li> </ul> Soft skills: <ul> <li>Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).</li> <li>Understanding of link between technical specialities and customer requirements.</li> <li>Understanding of industry best practices and standards.</li> <li>Fluent communication skills.</li> <li>Team player: ability to work with teams distributed geographically in different locations.</li> <li>Solid analytical and problem-solving skills/investigating skills on technical matters.</li> <li>Well organised.</li> <li>Good time management and prioritization of tasks.</li> <li>Ability to identify problems and suggest mitigating and contingency actions.</li> </ul> At GFT we consider diversity as one of our main pillars and we foster an inclusive work environment based on cooperation and mutual respect.
