<h2>Lead Sonova's Global Data & Analytics Transformation</h2> <p>Sonova is seeking an experienced <strong>Senior Director, BI, Data & Analytics</strong> to lead the company's global data and analytics organization. Reporting to the <strong>Chief Digital Officer (CDO)</strong>, this executive role will define and execute Sonova's enterprise-wide data strategy, driving business value through analytics, AI, modern data platforms, and data governance.</p> <p>This is a highly strategic leadership position responsible for transforming the organization into a truly data-driven enterprise while enabling innovation, operational excellence, and revenue growth.</p> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Define and execute the global enterprise data and analytics strategy.</li> <li>Lead and scale a centralized global Data & Analytics organization, managing direct and indirect teams across multiple regions.</li> <li>Establish enterprise-wide data governance, data architecture standards, and operating models.</li> <li>Drive adoption of modern cloud-based data platforms, AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics capabilities.</li> <li>Partner closely with executive leadership, IT, and business functions to identify and prioritize high-value data initiatives.</li> <li>Lead enterprise data transformation programs, ensuring measurable business outcomes and value realization.</li> <li>Build and oversee scalable data engineering, data science, business intelligence, and analytics capabilities.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to monetize data and develop innovative data products.</li> <li>Manage external technology partners and strategic vendors.</li> <li>Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives on data strategy, AI opportunities, governance, investment decisions, and emerging technologies.</li> </ul> <h3>Required Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or another quantitative discipline.</li> <li>15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Data, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Digital organizations.</li> <li>Proven success leading enterprise-wide data transformation in large, global organizations.</li> <li>Experience developing and executing enterprise data strategy and digital architecture roadmaps.</li> <li>Strong background in data governance, data management, enterprise analytics, and modern cloud data platforms.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience leading Data Engineering, Data Science, Business Intelligence, and Analytics teams.</li> <li>Experience redesigning operating models, organizational capabilities, and data functions.</li> <li>Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, and advanced analytics solutions.</li> <li>Experience managing large global teams, external vendors, and strategic technology partnerships.</li> <li>Commercial mindset with experience identifying business value from data and analytics investments.</li> <li>Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.</li> <li>Fluent English.</li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Experience within healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or other regulated industries.</li> <li>Knowledge of international regulatory environments.</li> <li>German language skills are advantageous.</li> </ul> <h3>Location</h3> <ul> <li>This role can be based in Berlin, Singapore or Staefa</li> </ul> <h3>Leadership Profile</h3> <p>We are looking for a visionary leader who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence.
