This role is critical to ensuring supplier quality readiness, preventing supplier-related quality escapes, and enforcing disciplined execution of the Quality Critical Component List (QCCL) from Proto through EVT and DVT. The SQE Manager partners closely with NPI Quality Program Management (QPM) and cross-functional teams to enable predictable, high-quality product launches and support overall Quality Performance Index (QPI) objectives.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Essential Responsibilities</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>New Product Introduction (NPI) & Supplier Quality</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead supplier quality execution across NPI phases (Proto, EVT, DVT).</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Prevent critical supplier-related quality incidents during NPI through early risk identification and mitigation.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Partner with NPI QPM to ensure supplier quality readiness aligns with program milestones and phase gates.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provide supplier quality approval supporting NPI phase exits and DVT readiness.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Quality Critical Component List (QCCL) Execution</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Establish, validate, and maintain the Quality Critical Component List (QCCL) for all assigned NPI programs.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure 100% of QCCL items are reviewed, mitigated, and cleared prior to first NPI build.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Define supplier qualification and control strategies for all QCCL components.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure QCCL risks are mitigated, verified, and supplier-approved by DVT.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Supplier Readiness & FAI Execution</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure NPI suppliers are deployed with a defined and approved NPI quality process.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assess supplier readiness for new designs, processes, materials, and technologies.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Own First Article Inspection (FAI) planning and execution readiness for NPI builds.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure on-time FAI completion prior to NPI build execution.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Risk Management, Prevention & Continuous Improvement</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead supplier risk assessments including PFMEA, control plan reviews, and process capability evaluations.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Drive proactive supplier prevention and control improvements to eliminate defects before occurrence.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Deliver supplier prevention or control improvements.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier-related NPI issues.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Qualifications</span></strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent certification preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">8 to 10+ years of relevant experience in Supplier Quality, NPI Quality, or Manufacturing Quality.
