At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Overview</b></H2> </div><div><p>Serves as main contact/liaison for customers within assigned territory.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Tasks Summary &amp; Responsibilities </b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Proficiently and accurately prepares, analyzes and issues detailed materials schedules: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.</li> <li>Follows up as required with all teams (Production, Procurement, Quality, Engineering …) to manage and expedite production to meet customer expectation.</li> <li>Reviews and optimizes master data and parameter settings along supply chain (SAP)</li> <li>Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels</li> <li>Plans, develops, implements and evaluates processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit</li> <li>Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries</li> <li>Takes follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production</li> <li>Develops and maintains good relationships with suppliers and ensure demand for materials is met and deliveries made on time</li> <li>Monitors inventory levels against agreed target levels</li> <li>Minimizes obsolete stock and ensures business is left with minimum liability</li> <li>Monitors supply chain performance and drives improvements</li> <li>Adheres to the safety and quality standards (goals and metrics) of the organization while working within a team environment.</li> <li>Accepts increased responsibility and is accountable for his/her actions</li> <li>Responds to multiple assignments in a timely and efficient manner</li> <li>Overtime may be required, based on business need; regular attendance required.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor/master’s degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent</li> <li>Minimum 3 years of Production planning or Materials management in a plant/manufacturing environment</li> <li>Proven track record of supply chain improvements and related performance improvement results </li> <li>Working experience with supply chain planning systems and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)</li> <li>Experience in the Automotive Sector within a global organisation is an advantage</li> </ul> <p> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Competencies</b></H2> </div><div><div>Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork</div></div></div></div>
