Works alongside the Executive Chef on the Vikings Table Food Truck, a key component of the Foundation's community outreach efforts. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Prepare and distribute approximately 1,000 meals for community members in need.</li> <li>Support meal programs benefiting organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club and Ronald McDonald House.</li> <li>Assist the Executive Chef with food preparation, service, and operations on the Vikings Table Food Truck.</li> <li>Participate in food truck operations during all Minnesota Vikings home football games.</li> <li>Ensure food quality, safety, and efficient meal production to support large-scale community meal initiatives.</li> </ul> Impact: <ul> <li>Contributes to the delivery of healthy, nutritious meals while supporting the Foundation's efforts to address food insecurity across the Greater Twin Cities community.</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li>Previous experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, Line Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor in a high-volume food service environment.</li> <li>Ability to prepare large quantities of food while maintaining quality and consistency.</li> <li>Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.</li> <li>Experience with catering, mobile food service, food trucks, or community meal programs preferred.</li> <li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support the Executive Chef.</li> <li>Capacity to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.</li> <li>Flexible schedule with availability to work all Minnesota Vikings home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.</li> <li>Passion for community service and supporting programs that benefit youth and families.</li> <li>Food Handler Certification and/or ServSafe Certification preferred.</li> </ul></div></div></div>Apply to Canteen today!
