In this role, you will be responsible for driving Lean initiatives, building capability, and embedding a strong Lean culture across multiple sites.</p> <p>You will work closely with leaders and teams to enable sustainable improvements, enhance operational performance, and support day-to-day business through structured Lean methodologies.</p> <p> </p> <p>The role will be either based in Trollhättan or Hallstahammar, and work will be split between the sites.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Key Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>Lead and drive Lean improvement initiatives across the business area</li> <li>Coach and support leaders and team members in Lean culture, principles, and tools</li> <li>Plan, coordinate, and facilitate Lean improvement events across different sites</li> <li>Act as a change agent to embed continuous improvement thinking into everyday work</li> <li>Support daily operations with problem-solving and improvement activities</li> <li>Facilitate workshops, Improvement events, and other structured improvement sessions</li> <li>Ensure consistent deployment of Lean practices and standards across the organization</li> <li>Collaborate with leadership teams to identify improvement opportunities and priorities</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Key Accountabilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>Role modelling a culture that is aligned to the GKN Aerospace “Great Place to Work” value drivers and Culture Principles</li> <li>Exemplifying a safety-first mindset and ensuring that the GKN Aerospace Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards are applied across GKNA and that all locations are a model of a world class healthy and safe working environment</li> <li>Ensuring the correct allocation of resources to make the Lean capability development a success, and making problems immediately visible, allowing problem solving to take place</li> <li>Delivering significant improvement in People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity (PSQDIP) targets, meeting their site’s customer and stakeholder commitments, driven by significant improvements in Lean Maturity</li> <li>Developing deep Lean and Problem-Solving Expertise across their site, ensuring that all employees become self-sufficient in running and improving the business daily</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>Proven experience working with Lean methodologies and tools (e.g., Improvements, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, problem-solving techniques)</li> <li>Strong ability to facilitate workshops and lead improvement events</li> <li>Experience coaching and developing leaders and teams within Lean principles</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Structured, proactive, and results-oriented mindset, BSc degree, or equivalent, in an Engineering or Science discipline</li> <li>Minimum of 10 years’ relevant business experience</li> <li>Thorough understanding of Lean Thinking and Lean Leadership</li> <li>The demonstrated ability to influence the site Leadership Team</li> <li>Ability to lead, coach and mentor highly skilled and experienced team members</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Desirable</strong></p> <ul> <li>Second or advanced degree in Business</li> <li>Previous and significant experience in Lean Transformation</li> <li>A Lean Certification from a reputable certifying body or benchmark company</li> <li>Aerospace supply chain experience</li> <li>Communication skills in Swedish</li> </ul> <div> <div> <div id="_com_1"> <p> </p> </div> </div> </div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Application</b></H2> </div><div><p><strong>Travel Requirements:</strong><br>Up to 50% within Sweden and occasionally international</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Trollhättan, Hallstahammar</p> <p> </p> <div>Application deadline: <strong>2026-08-30. </strong>Due to the summer holiday period, candidate screening and feedback will take place after the summer break.</div> <div> </div> <div><em>The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection.
