Your Role: The Manufacturing Technician 4 - 2nd Shift at the Broadway site will mix and process various biological compounds according to established protocols and perform operations in support of the group. Job duties include: <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Shift details: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm (training will be on 1st shift for the first 6-8 weeks).</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Complete all documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices as dictated by internal policies.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Communicate status of processes, products, and equipment to the team.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Complete a thorough and accurate batch record at the conclusion of production operations consistent with quality guidelines.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or hazardous chemicals, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</li> </ul> Physical Attributes: <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Sit, stand; walk; use hands, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Utilize close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision and adjust focus.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as an air helmet, mask, safety shoes, rubber apron, protective gloves, and or chemical resistant suit.</li> </ul> Who You Are Minimum Qualifications: <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">High School Diploma or GED.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">3+ years of work experience in a chemical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or other life science manufacturing environment.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Associate Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other Life Science discipline.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Solid knowledge of chemistry, math, and general science.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Troubleshooting skills.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 24.0px;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Strong mechanical aptitude.</li> </ul> RSREMD Pay Range for this position: $24.00- $44.00 per hour. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
