You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.</span><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and operational excellence of the LAX Automated People Mover (APM) system. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (operations, maintenance, and contractor personnel), conduct safety audits and risk assessments, and much more.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">We’ll look to you for:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Leading the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of CPUC Public Transit Agency Safety Plan (P-TASP) requirements for LAX APM operations. </span></p> </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Developing, implementing, and enforcing the Roadway Worker Protection (RWP) program, including procedures, training, compliance monitoring, and field audits. </span></p> </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Creating, implementing, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with regulatory, contractual, and operational safety requirements. </span></p> </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Providing field safety oversight of operations, maintenance, and contractor activities to ensure safe execution of work. </span></p> </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Leading and supporting incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented. </span></p> </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Conducting hazard identification, risk assessments, and safety analyses to proactively identify and mitigate risks. </span></p> </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Monitoring compliance with CPUC, OSHA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. </span></p> </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Coordinating with regulatory agencies, including CPUC, and supporting audits, inspections, and reporting requirements. </span></p> </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Analyzing safety performance data, trends, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives. </span></p> </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Providing safety training, coaching, and awareness programs to employees and contractors.</span></p> </li> </ul> <p><br><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>All about you</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">We value passion and attitude over experience.
