May be responsible for ensuring compliance with Black & Veatch quality program and provides related guidance and direction to others. Supports continuous improvement and change management efforts. <br>- Prepares a variety of complex Instrumentation & Control (I&C) engineering deliverables across multiple projects.<br>- Performs complex research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection.<br>- Prepares complex engineering calculations in accordance with standard methods and principles.<br>- Assist in identifying key client interests and drivers on low to moderately complex projects. Communicates these to project team members and develops approaches to address them in project execution. Provides support for business development and pursuit activities and may offer additional services to clients.<br>- Recognized as a technical specialist, with the knowledge and skill set to provide consultation and guidance to project teams in a particular practice area. May design complete projects of moderately complex scope or support multiple projects involving complex technical challenges. Actively fosters knowledge management and provides mentoring. May develop and apply advanced engineering concepts and approaches to unique engineering problems.<br>- Manages assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements. Independently applies advanced engineering techniques, analysis methods, and problem-solving approaches. Actively delegates appropriate tasks to junior team members to build project execution capability. Reviews work completed by lower-level engineers.<br>- Actively coordinates with internal and external stakeholders on moderately complex projects and may serve as the engineer in responsible charge of a project.<br>- Assists with performance management processes, mentoring, recognition, and corrective actions as required. May participate in career planning and learning and development initiatives.
