This role plans and coordinates maintenance activities, maintains accurate records, and supports continuous improvement efforts to maximize equipment reliability and operational performance. What You’ll Be Doing: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Review and validate maintenance work orders to ensure they are complete and ready for execution.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance plans and procedures.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Plan maintenance work, including labor, materials, tools, and equipment requirements.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Coordinate the procurement, staging, and availability of parts and critical materials.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Estimate labor hours, material requirements, and job costs for maintenance activities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Manage maintenance backlogs and support scheduling activities based on priorities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Develop and maintain standard job plans for recurring maintenance work.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Review completed work orders and update maintenance records, equipment history, and bills of materials.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Analyze maintenance performance and compare actual results to plan estimates.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Provide guidance and training on maintenance planning processes and maintenance software.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Support the reliability and maintenance of equipment including conveyors, bucket elevators, pumps, mills, grinders, and food processing equipment.</li> </ul> Skills/Experience Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">High school diploma or equivalent required.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Two-year vocational or technical diploma preferred.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Minimum of five (5) years of progressive maintenance experience, preferably as a Millwright or Electrician.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Experience coordinating or leading preventive and corrective maintenance activities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Ability to estimate labor, materials, and resources required to complete maintenance work.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance reporting tools.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across maintenance and operations teams.</li> </ul> Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
