<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H4 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>-</b></H4> </div><div><p><strong>Short Description</strong></p> <p>The Inspection Engineer is responsible for performing third-party inspection, testing, and certification activities for lifting equipment and cranes, primarily within the oil and gas sector, ensuring compliance with applicable international standards, client specifications, and local regulatory requirements.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Conduct inspection, testing, and certification of <strong>lifting equipment and cranes</strong>, including but not limited to:</li> <ul type="circle"> <li>Mobile cranes, offshore cranes, tower cranes</li> <li>Lifting appliances, lifting gears, and accessories</li> </ul> <li>Perform inspections during various phases:</li> <ul type="circle"> <li>Initial inspection</li> <li>Periodic and annual inspections</li> <li>Load testing and re-certification</li> </ul> <li>Review engineering drawings, lifting plans, technical documents, and manufacturer data books (MDB).</li> <li>Ensure inspection activities comply with:</li> <ul type="circle"> <li>Applicable international standards (ISO, EN, ASME, API, etc.)</li> <li>Client specifications and project requirements</li> <li>Bureau Veritas internal procedures and codes</li> </ul> <li>Prepare accurate <strong>inspection reports, certificates, and non-conformance reports (NCRs)</strong> in a timely manner.</li> <li>Liaise with clients, contractors, and site personnel to clarify technical issues and inspection findings.</li> <li>Identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions to ensure personnel safety and asset integrity.</li> <li>Maintain professional conduct and uphold Bureau Veritas values, ethics, and impartiality at all times.</li> <li>Support audits, client meetings, and technical discussions when required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Professional Certification</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>NDT Inspection and Certification.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essencial Requirements:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Minimum <strong>10 years of working experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in Marine Vessels</strong>.</li> <li>At least <strong>5 years of hands-on experience in inspection</strong> of:</li> <ul type="circle"> <li>Lifting equipment</li> <li>Cranes and lifting accessories</li> </ul> <li>Prior experience working with third-party inspection agencies is an advantage.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical Competencies:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, safety standards and regulations.</li> <li>Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.</li> <li>Familiarity with inspection and testing techniques for cranes and lifting equipment.</li> <li>Good understanding of risk assessment and safe working practices.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills & Attributes:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.</li> <li>Willingness to travel to site locations and work in offshore/onshore environments.</li> <li>Proficient in MS Office and inspection reporting systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Committed to maintaining a high level of HSE awareness.</li> <li>Strict adherence to safety rules, procedures, and permit-to-work systems.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H4 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>-</b></H4> </div><div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H4 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>-</b></H4> </div><div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H4 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>-</b></H4> </div><div></div></div></div>
