Objectives: Conduct electrical product safety test as well as performance test on electrical products according to standards or testing methods Duties & Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Respect and apply the test program defined by the offer.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Pick the samples from login clerks</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Prepare the samples for testing using prescribed testing methods, following testing standards / specifications, as required.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Prepare test plan for lab </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Issue test data sheets for recording the test results / findings.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Apply the standards with appropriate test methods defined by LCIE china procedures when applicable</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Apply the interpretations sheets (OSM, CTL, LCIE, EK1, EK 9, etc…) during the tests</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Perform construction checks and other testing on electrical products according to prescribed testing methods, standards / specifications appropriate to the sample, as required, as complexity warrants.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Accurately record test data and equipments used for tests, if applicable</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Record the consumable use, if needed</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Support and supervise if needed testing engineer to conduct testing according to relevant standards.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Review test results / data provided by testing engineer.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Manage the samples for subcontracted tests</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Review the results provided by the subcontracting labs</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Prepare test reports</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Transfer for signatory the test folders with all technical documents</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Transfer the samples to login clerks when tests are finished</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Provide feedback to testing Manager regarding processes and recommendations for improvements.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Perform the lab test for the inspection team</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Update the folder status in Bistra</li> </ul> Quality <ul> <li>Follow the internal quality system of LCIE China</li> <li>Adhere to BV CPS quality requirements</li> </ul> Skills and Requirements: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Reliable</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Initiative and independence in solving problems and developing methods.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Ability to perform multiple tasks by manager request.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Individual and Team work ethic.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet or exceed deadlines (with help from manager if necessary).</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Proficiency with Windows, Word & Excel.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Working knowledge of IEC / EN / UL standards relating to electrical products.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Electrical and mechanical aptitude.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Knowledge of testing of electrical products from laboratory / manufacturing.</li> </ul> Education & Experience: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">High Diploma / Degree in Electrical engineering.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">2 to 3 years of working experience in electrical product safety testing.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Good knowledge of electrical product safety</li> <li style="text-align:justify">English speaking and writing candidate will be favored.</li> </ul> Back Up: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Senior Project Engineer</li> </ul>
