In this role, the Safety, Health and Environment Manager will support &amp; advise the Factory Management team in all aspects of Safety, Health &amp; Environment (SHE) with a strong focus on implementing Market-level initiatives, including developing &amp; driving site initiatives leading to continuous improvement in SHE performance in line with the Nestlé Continuous Excellence mind-set of zero accidents and incidents.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>A day in the life…</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Reporting to the Factory Manager, as a dynamic and dedicated Health and Safety professional, you will be required to drive site compliance and improvement in safety, health and environmental activities including:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Direct and co-ordinate the development and implementation of the Factory&apos;s SHE strategy &amp; program.</li> <li>Monitor and communicate on performance to improve decision making regarding SHE and to integrate SHE into business decisions.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to all company principles, policies and requirements related to SHE.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with SHE-related legal requirements. Develop and sustain a local network (including authorities, other factories, etc).</li> <li>Implement, control, maintain and improve the Factory SHE Management systems including achieving and maintaining ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 certification.</li> <li>Provide coaching &amp; support to the Factory Manager, Factory Management team and Line Managers in order to achieve the Factory&apos;s SHE objectives.</li> <li>Ensure that SHE performance data is available and correctly managed.</li> <li>Champion the Factory SHE risk assessment program, including assessment, incident investigation, corrective action and auditing, as well as ensuring a focus on Behavioural Based Safety (BBS) and culture.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What will make you successful</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>You will have a strong demonstrated experience in Safety, Health &amp; Environment areas. A strong negotiator, you strive to strengthen the site safety culture and fostering preventative and proactive safety performance.
