Position Overview The IT End User Experience Field Technician (IT EUx FT) is responsible for enhancing the satisfaction of the end user by providing hands-on and remote technical support, ensuring a seamless and productive technology experience. This role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving user-facing technology in both office and field environments. The technician collaborates closely with the IT EUx Manager & IT EUx Client Technology Specialist other IT teams to resolve issues, implement process improvements, and support technology initiatives that enhance user satisfaction and productivity. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Deliver desk side and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Troubleshoot and resolve end user technology problems efficiently and professionally.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Maintain and administer computer systems, mobile devices, and related environments.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Assist with deployment, configuration, and refresh of user-facing technology assets.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Support technology initiatives and projects as directed by the IT End User Experience Manager.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Communicate effectively with users, peers, and management to provide updates and solutions.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Document solutions, create training guides, and contribute to the knowledge base.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Assist with asset inventory management and technology lifecycle processes.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and departmental standards.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance the end user experience.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Travel to business sites for support, training, or project delivery as needed.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> Qualifications Education/Experience <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Associate’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar field technician role.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Experience supporting Windows operating systems, Office 365, mobile devices, VPNs, and networking</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">A+, ITIL Foundation, and recent MCP certifications preferred.</li> </ul> Skills and Competencies <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Proficient in desktop, network, and application configuration, troubleshooting, and installation.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Eager to learn new technologies and maintain industry standards.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to identify customer needs, gather information, and resolve problems.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Effective working individually, in teams, and with virtual teams.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to present technical information in user-friendly language</li> </ul> Work Requirements <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to safely lift 5–30 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds occasionally.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Willingness to travel to field sites as needed.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Available for on-call work or outside normal hours for critical incidents or project deliverables.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to work in office, industrial, and field environments, including use of personal protective equipment.</li> </ul> <h2>Work Environment</h2> While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat.
