APC has always thought of its staff as family and provides competitive wages, salaries and excellent benefits!Position Overview This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of a crusher and some other various types of construction equipment including but not limited to Roller, Motor Grader, Excavator, Loader, Water Truck, etc. Pay ranges from $28 to $32 an hour, based on experience. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Report any issues or concerns with equipment to supervisor immediately. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Load and unload materials onto/from trucks, trailers, and other vehicles using various types of machinery. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Backfill excavations and compact soil using heavy equipment. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Assist in the construction buildings, roads, bridges, and other. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Knowledge of weight requirements of loads leaving the pit. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Travel from interstate highway to rural dirt roads from various locations. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"> Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. </li> </ul> Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
