This hands-on position requires completing various manual labor duties while adhering to all safety standards and project requirements. Work is typically carried out independently under the guidance of a supervisor, with direct supervision provided only for more complex assignments. </div> <h3> </h3> Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Perform general construction labor duties in support of roadway, utility, grading, paving, and site development projects.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Assist with site preparation, excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling activities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Operate hand tools and small power tools safely and effectively.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Set up and remove traffic control devices, barricades, and work zone signage as directed.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and tools.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Support concrete, asphalt, pipe installation, and other construction operations as required.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Assist equipment operators and skilled crew members during construction activities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Follow supervisor instructions and work independently on routine assignments.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment and report any safety concerns or equipment issues.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Participate in daily safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety and teamwork.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li> </ul> Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
