We are now looking for an experienced, influential and forward-thinking Health & Safety Manager to lead and shape the next chapter of our safety journey. Reporting directly to the Plant Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in strengthening our safety culture, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate standards, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of Health & Safety. The Role In this role, you will: <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the site's Health & Safety strategy, fostering a proactive and sustainable safety culture</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Act as the key advisor and subject matter expert on all occupational health, safety and risk management matters</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements, corporate standards and industry best practices</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Identify risks, drive preventive measures and implement initiatives that continuously improve safety performance</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, conduct root cause analyses and ensure effective corrective actions are embedded</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Manage internal and external HSE reporting, providing meaningful insights, analysis and recommendations to stakeholders</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Serve as Radiation Protection Officer and HSE Management Representative, supporting the ongoing development of management systems</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Coordinate and support internal and external audits and ensure successful implementation of resulting actions</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Develop, review and communicate HSE procedures, standards and work instructions</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Deliver engaging training programmes and awareness initiatives that strengthen ownership and accountability for safety across the workforce</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Partner closely with operational leaders and employees to build a culture where safety is a shared responsibility</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color:black">Act as a catalyst for change, inspiring people to challenge existing practices and continuously raise safety standards</li> </ul> The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a passionate Health & Safety leader who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to inspire, influence and engage people at all levels of the organisation.
