Position Overview <div>The Laborer / Equipment Operator is responsible for performing a variety of manual labor duties and safely operating equipment to support aggregate, asphalt, construction, or quarry operations. This position assists with daily production, maintenance, and site activities while promoting a culture focused on safety, quality, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence. The role requires flexibility to perform both labor and equipment operation responsibilities as needed.</div> Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties And Functions) <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Perform general labor duties to support plant, quarry, construction, or yard operations.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Operate equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, excavators, dozers, haul trucks, water trucks, rollers, and other equipment as assigned.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Load, move, stockpile, and transport materials safely and efficiently.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assist with plant operations, production activities, and maintenance projects.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Perform routine equipment servicing, including fueling, greasing, cleaning, and fluid checks.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Identify and report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, and maintenance needs.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assist with repairs, cleanup, housekeeping, and other site maintenance activities.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Follow established work procedures and production schedules to meet operational goals.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Work safely around moving equipment, machinery, and other personnel.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintain regular and predictable attendance.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li> </ul> Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
