Overview and Impact Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the following equipment: all conveyors, screens, feeders, crushers, and dust suppression systems. This is a 2nd shift position located at our Wharton, NJ location. The typical hours for this shift are 1:30pm-11:30pm but are subject to change. Core Responsibilities <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Adhere to all MSHA and Company safety rules/regulations.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Inspect work area and fill out Work Area Inspection forms daily and Production Report.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Keep walkways, catwalks, stairways, platforms, and conveyor frames clean and free of debris and garbage.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Check and maintain conveyor belts, scrapers, skirt boards, idlers, pulleys, guards and bearings.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Grease all bearings on head pulley, tail pulley, upper bend pulley, lower bend pulley and gravity take-up pulley of conveyors (where applicable) according to specified maintenance schedule.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Check and maintain oil levels in crushers according to specified schedule.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Change screen deck panels when required.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Check water system, including spray bars and water lines.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">May be called upon at discretion of the Foremen to perform any other duties assigned and to assist other departments if necessary.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Demonstrate ability to learn for training classes given.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Demonstrate the ability to perform all duties safely.</li> </ul> <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"> <li style="line-height:107%;margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Learn and implement MSHA standards and regulations to ensure a safe operating environment is maintained at all times.
