<p>The Sizewell C Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.#SZCJobs</p><p> </p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Ganger (Sizewell C)</strong><br><strong>Venesky-Brown</strong><br><strong>Sizewell C</strong></p> <p><br>Venesky-Brown are looking for an experienced Ganger to work with a contractor delivering works on the Sizewell C project in Suffolk.</p> <p><br>This role requires someone with a strong civils background, particularly across highways, earthworks and drainage, who is confident leading a small gang, setting daily tasks and supporting the Foreman with the safe and efficient delivery of works on site.</p> <p><br>Location: Sizewell C, Suffolk<br>Rate: £23.09 per hour PAYE<br>Overtime: £30.71 per hour PAYE after 10 hours per day<br>Saturday: £34.64 per hour PAYE</p> <p><br><strong>Duties will include:</strong><br>- Leading and supervising a small gang on site<br>- Supporting daily works across highways, earthworks and drainage<br>- Setting operatives to work and monitoring progress<br>- Ensuring works are completed safely and to specification<br>- Working closely with the Foreman and site team<br>- Ensuring RAMS and site procedures are followed<br>- Helping coordinate labour, plant and materials<br>- Reporting any issues, delays or safety concerns<br>- Maintaining good housekeeping and safety standards on site</p> <p><br><strong>Essential requirements:</strong><br>- Previous Ganger experience on civil engineering projects<br>- Strong highways, earthworks and drainage background<br>- Experience leading civils gangs on site<br>- SSSTS preferred<br>- Good understanding of site health and safety<br>- Ability to lead from the front and keep works moving<br>- Strong communication skills</p> <p><br><strong>Desirable:</strong><br>CSCS Gold card or above<br>First Aid<br>Plant tickets or additional civils qualifications<br>Previous experience on major infrastructure projects<br>Temporary Works awareness<br>This is a good opportunity to join a major UK infrastructure project with Galliford Try, with consistent hours and overtime available.<br>To apply, please submit your CV or contact Venesky-Brown for more information.</p> <p><br><strong>Apply Now </strong></p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
