<p>The Sizewell C Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.#SZCJobs</p><p> </p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Health, Safety &amp; Wellbeing Advisor (Sizewell C)</strong><br><strong>Morson</strong><br><strong>Sizewell C</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><br>* Supporting the implementation and promotion of health and safety policies, procedures and best practice.<br>* Assisting with the development and delivery of project health and safety objectives, campaigns and improvement initiatives.<br>* Producing monthly and annual health and safety performance reports when required.<br>* Preparing and maintaining high-quality health and safety documentation.<br>* Working closely with operational teams to ensure health and safety responsibilities are understood and achieved.<br>* Supporting the development and review of Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work (SSoW), permits and work plans.<br>* Carrying out regular site inspections and audits in line with project requirements.<br>* Ensuring accidents, incidents and near misses are reported, investigated and closed out within agreed timescales.<br>* Assisting management teams with the preparation of health and safety documentation.<br>* Identifying health and safety training needs and supporting the delivery of training initiatives.<br>* Supporting the project team with For Cause Drug &amp; Alcohol testing where required.<br>* Assisting with site inductions, toolbox talks and workforce briefings.</p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications </strong></p> <p><br>* NEBOSH Certificate (Construction preferred) or an equivalent qualification.<br>* Membership of a recognised professional body (Tech IOSH or above).<br>* An accident investigation qualification such as Kelvin TOPSET, RoSPA or NEBOSH HSE Introduction to Incident Investigation.<br>* Experience working within civil engineering, infrastructure or major construction environments in a similar health and safety role.</p> <p><br><strong>Experience </strong></p> <p><br>* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels.<br>* Strong organisational skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
