<p>The Sizewell C Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.#SZCJobs</p><p> </p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Environmental Advisor (Sizewell C)</strong><br><strong>Morson</strong><br><strong>Sizewell C</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><br>Support the implementation and maintenance of the projects Environmental Management System (EMS).<br>Provide environmental advice to site and design teams.<br>Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, permits and client requirements.<br>Carry out environmental audits, inspections and site monitoring.<br>Deliver environmental training and toolbox talks.<br>Assist with incident investigations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.<br>Produce environmental reports, KPI data and inspection records.<br>Support sustainability initiatives, including carbon reduction and environmental innovation.<br>Attend client meetings and liaise with key stakeholders where required.<br>Promote environmental best practice across the project.</p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications </strong></p> <p><br>Membership of, or working towards membership with, a recognised professional body such as IEMA, CIWEM or CIWM.</p> <p><br><strong>Experience </strong></p> <p><br>At least 1 years experience in an environmental role within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure.<br>Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.<br>Experience assessing environmental aspects and implementing effective environmental controls.<br>Understanding of UK environmental legislation and compliance requirements.<br>Knowledge of environmental topics such as:<br>Ecology and biodiversity<br>Air quality<br>Noise and vibration<br>Water management<br>Waste and materials<br>Climate change and carbon reduction<br>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.<br>A proactive approach with excellent organisational skills</p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
